Before joining AHS in December of 2019, Daniel litigated commercial insurance claims in federal court on behalf of out-of-network healthcare providers. Not only a litigator, but a true counselor, Daniel regularly guided healthcare providers who were looking to successfully navigate a complex regulatory world. He has provided counsel on a variety of topics including, but not limited to, the Out-of-network Consumer Protection, Transparency, Cost Containment and Accountability Act, ERISA, and Anti-kickback/Stark Law compliance. Daniel also has extensive experience representing health care providers in binding PIP arbitrations having personally secured millions of dollars for his clients—including one of the largest New Jersey PIP awards in recent history (2016). Daniel is admitted to practice in the courts of New Jersey as well the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. Daniel received his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law where he was a staff member on the Fordham Intellectual Property, Media & Entertainment Law Journal and he received his B.A. from Queens College.
